Set up Fri, 10/13 & Breakdown Fri, 10/20

To volunteer go to the sign up genius

Our beloved Scholastic Book Fair is almost here!  The students have already begun asking Ms. Lien when they will get their books.  Every child will receive one free book from the fair donated by the Riverside PTO.  The proceeds from the book fair will go to support our Teachers, Library and the PTO.  This fair wouldn't be possible to run without your support.  The teachers are signing up for class times and we will update the sign-up once times have been finalized.  If your child's normal library time is on Mon, Tues or Wed that is typically when they will go to the book fair.

“Walk to School” Day, Wednesday, May 4, 2016.

posted May 2, 2016, 4:03 AM by Admin RSPTO   [ updated May 2, 2016, 4:03 AM by President RSPTO ]

There are many benefits to walking to school with your child. Walking to school instills active habits that can contribute to a lifelong healthy lifestyle. It is an opportunity to teach your child how to be a safe pedestrian. It is also a way to socialize with your child’s neighbor and build community. Additionally it inspires alternative modes of travel to decrease traffic, congestion & air pollution.

New Jersey Safe Routes to School offers a “Walking School Bus” app that can be downloaded from the Apple store or on the android via Google play. Look for our school listed under “Princeton” school district. Groups have been established as Green/Blue/Red/Orange routes. Please join one of these routes or establish your own group with your friends. What a great way to enjoy your neighborhood environment. We hope you will enjoy walking! This event will take place rain or shine!
