The final presentation this year in the popular Princeton Balance Speaker's Series, focused on promoting health and wellness, will appeal to educators and parents of children across all grade levels:

"More Natural and More Nothing: How to Raise a Happy, Healthy, Successful Child"

by Gabrielle Principe, Associate Professor of Psychology at Ursinus College and author of Your Brain on Childhood (Prometheus, 2011)

When: Monday, April 23, 7:30 p.m. (program includes book signing)

Where: Princeton High School PAC

Principe, a developmental psychologist, has a lifelong fascination with the implications of evolutionary ideas on children's development.  As a scientist, she has a serious interest in translating the latest scientific research about human development into information that parents and teachers can use to better rear and educate children.  As a mother, she has the moxie to use this science to advocate bringing the fun and freedom back in childhood and parenting.
